Have the AUDAZ to be seen.
Audaz: Wear the Beautiful Things

There is a beautiful coat sitting in the back of your closet.
You know the one.
The one you bought because you loved it, but somehow it became too nice for every day. Maybe there is a scarf beside it that you never wear. A beautiful piece of jewelry still sitting in its box. A dress waiting for the right dinner. Shoes waiting for somewhere special enough to take them.
We do this with so many beautiful things. We save them. And sometimes, years later, we realize we never actually used them.
Audaz was created as our reminder to stop waiting.
Why Do We Save Our Beautiful Things?

I think about the people who had special dishes tucked away in a cabinet that were only brought out when company came over or for a very special occasion.
Those dishes could sit untouched for years.
Too beautiful for Tuesday dinner. Too special for breakfast. Too nice for an ordinary night with the family. And then one day you realize something.
Those ordinary dinners were the special occasions.
Those were the moments worth bringing out the beautiful dishes for. I think we sometimes treat ourselves the same way. We tell ourselves we'll wear the beautiful coat when we have somewhere important to go. We'll put on the statement necklace when we get dressed up. We'll wear the nice earrings for a dinner, wedding or celebration. Without realizing it, we're almost telling ourselves that our everyday life isn't special enough. Or worse, that we aren't special enough.
I don't want to do that anymore.
Audaz Was Inspired by My Mother
This year, I have thought about my mother a lot. I've thought about the lessons she taught me, the traditions I want to carry with me and the things I have consciously chosen to leave behind.
Audaz comes from one of the traditions I want to keep.
Growing up, I watched my mother get ready every morning. Jewelry was always part of it. She mixed her metals beautifully. Gold didn't mean everything had to be gold. Silver didn't mean everything else had to match. Different textures, chains and pieces came together effortlessly. And somehow, she always looked elegant. She wore her jewelry for special occasions, but she also wore it every day. I can't remember my mother without jewelry.
There was something about watching her get ready that stayed with me. Jewelry wasn't simply something she put on because she was going somewhere important. It was part of how she presented herself to the world. It was part of her ritual.
Audaz is my interpretation of that memory.
Mixed Metals Are Back, But Did They Ever Really Leave?

Fashion has a funny way of coming back around.
The pieces we remember our mothers and grandmothers wearing suddenly feel new again. Structured coats. Beautiful trench coats. Tweed. Leather. Rope chains. Gold and silver worn together.
That is the world of the Audaz Collection by Koquetta Accessories.
Audaz is built around textured rope chain jewelry and the beauty of mixing metallic finishes. The designs feel elegant and classic, but there is strength to them. They are minimalist without disappearing. Bold without feeling heavy. Classic without feeling dated. And this fall, they feel especially beautiful.
The Jewelry Your Fall Wardrobe Has Been Waiting For
Autumn gives us texture. Tweed. Leather. Wool. Knits. Trench coats. Structured jackets. Oversized sweaters. These heavier fabrics can completely change how our jewelry looks, which is why I wanted Audaz to have enough presence to stand beside them.
A textured rope chain peeking through the neckline of a beautiful coat creates that effortless, old-school elegance I love. Wear one against bare skin with an open neckline and let it frame your décolletage in a sophisticated way. Then take that same chain and wear it over a sweater. Add earrings. Mix your gold and silver. Throw on the coat.
Suddenly a sweater you've worn dozens of times feels intentional again. That's the beauty of accessories. You don't necessarily need another wardrobe. Sometimes you need to look at the wardrobe you already own differently.
Gold and Silver Don't Have to Choose Sides
One of my favourite things about Audaz is the freedom of mixed metal jewelry. We've been given so many little fashion rules over the years. If you're wearing gold earrings, wear a gold necklace. If your hardware is silver, choose silver jewelry. Pick one. Match everything. But why?
My mother didn't. And it looked beautiful. Mixing gold and silver jewelry creates dimension. It makes a classic look feel a little less expected and gives you more freedom to wear the pieces you already own.
Your gold earrings can sit beautifully beside a silver chain. A mixed metal necklace can connect everything together. Different metallic tones can become part of the texture of the outfit instead of something that needs to perfectly match. Wear it with intention, and suddenly breaking the old rule becomes part of your personal style.
Bring Back the Beautiful Coat
This autumn and winter, I want to bring back the feeling of getting dressed. Not overdressed. Not uncomfortable.
Just dressed.
A beautiful coat. A classic sweater. A pair of jeans or trousers. The lace poking through a sleeve, a collar, the bottom of your skirt. The gorgeous boots. And of course the jewellery.Maybe a scarf you've been saving for five years because it was "too nice."Wear it.
Your beautiful coat doesn't need to wait for dinner reservations.Your jewelry doesn't need to wait for a wedding. Your scarf doesn't need to wait for Paris. And you don't need somewhere important to go before you allow yourself to look and feel beautiful. Go get coffee dressed like that. Go to work dressed like that. Pick up your kids dressed like that. Go for lunch with your friend dressed like that. Go walk around the city dressed like that. Go live your completely normal life wearing the things you love.
You Are the Special Occasion
There is something deeper behind Audaz that I hope women understand.
Don't spend your life waiting for permission to enjoy what you already have.
You earned it.
You bought it.
Someone you love gave it to you.
You chose it because it made you feel something. So enjoy it while you can. Bring out the good dishes. Open the bottle you've been saving. Wear the beautiful coat.
Put on the jewelry.
Life doesn't suddenly become special because an invitation arrived in the mail. Sometimes the most beautiful moments are incredibly ordinary.
Another morning. Another coffee. Another cold fall afternoon. Another dinner around the table. Another opportunity to get dressed and experience a day you have never lived before.
That is worth celebrating.
And you are worth dressing for.
This Fall, Be Audaz
Audaz means bold.
But I've learned that boldness doesn't always need to be loud. Sometimes bold is choosing yourself. Sometimes it's mixing the metals instead of following the rules.
Sometimes it's pulling the beautiful coat out of the closet on a random Wednesday.
Sometimes it's wearing the necklace you've been saving because you've finally realized you don't need somewhere special to go.
This fall and winter, I want us to bring back a little of that old-school elegance.
Beautiful coats. Strong textures. Classic jewelry. Gold and silver. Textured rope chains. Pieces worn intentionally and delicately.
Not because we have somewhere important to be.
Because we are already important enough to wear them.
Don't wait for the occasion.
Wear the beautiful things.
