LA CALMA: Spring/Summer 2026 Collection
Turquoise Is My Peace Color This Year
If you’ve been feeling like the world is loud, chaotic, and constantly asking you to react right this second, same. This year, I’m not chasing any more noise. I’m chasing balance. The kind that helps me think clearly, move with intention, stay strong, and still use my voice when it matters.
So I picked a color that feels like an exhale.
This year, I’m bringing tranquility through turquoise.
Not because it’s trendy (even though it is). Not because it’s “pretty” ( even though it is). But because turquoise feels like what I’m trying to protect in myself: calm, clarity, and a steady kind of strength.

Why turquoise, though?
Turquoise is the color of the sky and the ocean. Two things that can look soft and peaceful… and still be powerful enough to change everything.
The sky reminds you there’s space to breathe.
The ocean reminds you that you can be calm and deep and strong, all at the same time.
Turquoise gives “I’m grounded” energy. It feels like growth. It feels like healing. It feels like your nervous system unclenching its jaw.
The vibe… calm mind, strong heart, clear voice
This year I want to move through life like turquoise looks:
-
cool, not cold
-
soft, not weak
-
bold, without being loud
I want to respond, not react. I want to protect my peace, but still show up for what I believe in. And honestly, wearing a color that reminds me of that feels like a tiny daily reset button.
How I’m wearing turquoise in real life
Not in a “full turquoise outfit and I’m in a music video” way (unless you are, then I love that for you). More like… subtle, intentional, effortless. Having pops of color that brighten my look. With every time I see it, that it reminds me to breath and enjoy the calm.
Turquoise as a reminder
This isn’t just about style. It’s about choosing something that brings you back to yourself.
When everything feels like too much, turquoise reminds us to breathe, slow down, stay rooted, and speak with intention. Because peace doesn’t mean you’re passive. Peace means you’re clear.
Turquoise and blue-green tones hold deep significance in many Indigenous cultures across the Americas, and it deserves real respect. In the Maya world especially, blue and blue-green hues were sacred and strongly connected to water, rain, fertility, and divine power. Those colors show up in ritual and symbolism in ways that speak to life itself.

And across Mesoamerica, turquoise was prized for its rarity and the fact that it often had to travel long distances through trade, making it a material associated with wealth, status, and ceremony.
For me, that meaning lands in a personal way. I love the idea of turquoise as a kind of shield of serenity. Something you carry with you as a reminder to stay calm, stay clear, and keep your spirit connected to something bigger than the chaos.
The inspiration… my trip to Guatemala
After my last trip to Guatemala, I came home feeling inspired in a way I can’t even fully explain. The colors, the textures, the energy, the natural beauty. It all stayed with me.
So this Spring and Summer 2026 collection is my way of bringing that feeling into everyday style. Think beads, turquoise tones, and natural touches, with a little Western-inspired flair and a whole lot of wearable calm.
This collection is made to bring peace to your day, not just sit in your jewelry box.
How to wear it: mix, match, and make it yours
This is not a “one right way” kind of season. This is a “play with it” season.
Pair the new turquoise pieces with your Koquetta staples like:
-
the Echo bracelets
-
the Toro necklace
-
the Geo earrings
Then mix and match for whatever life you’re living:
-
casual everyday looks
-
vacation outfits
-
concert fashion moments
-
cute nights out where you want to feel like yourself again
Turquoise is surprisingly easy to style because it pops without screaming.
The color story for Spring/Summer 2026

This season is turquoise, whites, and pinks for that sun-kissed, Southwestern-inspired look.
Turquoise + white = fresh and clean.
Turquoise + pink = soft and fun.
Turquoise + denim = main character energy.
Wear it however you want. The point is that it feels like you.
